Danish clothing companies are world-class when it comes to being close to the users. And this flair can place the Danish fashion industry among the very best in the world. FORA, one of the country’s most prominent news agencies, has analysed its way to this conclusion, writes the weekly newsletter Mandag Morgen. According to the analysis, Danish clothing companies possess the potential to reach the level of New York, Milan, Paris and London. "It's a little Marlena Deitrick-inspired and our woman, she starts in Berlin and you don't know if she's a singer or if she's a femme fatale or a spy," explained Von Furstenberg. "And then she escapes to Shangai to end up in New York. So that's kind of, that's the inspiration of the colors and the prints and all of that. But at the end, it's all about the adventureous side of a woman."
